On the program monitor, there should be a little flyout menu. By default, Premiere Pro sets the quality to automatic, which IMO is draft. Change that to the highest settings to see if it changes anything.

1. How long is the duration of your video?
2. What is the file size you are aiming for?Settings that may lower your file size:
a. Bitrate (lower bitrate = lower file size)
b. Frame rate (you really don’t need 29.97fps for your web video. Lower it down to 24 or even 15)
c. Audio: The audio does not have to be of the highest quality as your DV version.Aanarav Sareen

Again, I agree that there are deficincies in Premiere Pro and yes, they need to be developed. I am in no way saying that Premiere Pro is perfect; there are some bugs that need to be fixed and some features that need to be added. As I have said numerous times: submit feature requests. You might be surprised.PS: As to my Avid comment, I meant that I do my entire project in Avid if I foresee it being a problem in Premiere Pro.

I agree.
But, again: If Premiere Pro 1.5 is stopping you from doing your work, why do people still have it on their systems and how can you assume that they will be in the next version? Complaining about a non-existant release with “unknown features” is not the smartest idea. And always, submit feature requests on Adobe’s sites. They do look into those carefully. I am not arguing, that there are some functions missing in Premiere Pro. But none of those are stopping me from doing any projects (yet) And if they are, I simply open up my Avid. Not a big deal atleast at this point. Keep in putting in the feature requests and keep your fingers crossed.

There used to be issues when SP2 was first released. Haven’t seen any issue lately.
