Prima donna Pro ultimate DVD snafu
Man,
For no good reason sometimes it burns the DVD sometimes not. But, one thing for sure, you better save, close PPro, reboot computer, pray to the sun god and mayby, just maybe, it will be kind enough to burn a DVD for you. That is after you wait 30 min for PPro decide it’s not going to burn this time. So all settings just the same and then after a few tries it works. (BRErr, 1) is the only message you get- so then start all over with the ritualistic genuflecting to maybe get a DVD.

I have stock in Adobe and use many of their programs but I think that it may be PPro that will upset the apple cart. No pun intended. It’s the weak link in the video chain. I have windows xp 3.2ghz & 2 gigs or ram.

You might want to look on the DVD Authoring forum; they’ve created a helpful guide for people with burning issues, including a list of software which will screw up DVD burning by continually trying to access the DVD drive.

Downloading and istalling the mainconcept patch helped the problem. Thanks for your help.
