One more thing:
Motion files are often very small, so you can save as many as you want without using a lot of your hard disk space.
-
What you can do to help yourself is to create a file with a different name every day when you work on it. Say it is called particle, I would call it particle_001 then start saving the same file every day you work on it with a different number at the end say particle_002.
This is a common procedure when working on projects in any software.
Also have a look in your:
../HOME DIRECTORY/DOCUMENTS/Motion Documents/Autosave Vault
Inside you will see that motion behind your back always saves the projects in a similar manner I explained above.See if you can find one that has all of your behaviors in place.

looks like your intersections of the walls are OK. They should be going one through another, cutting in. Can you tell me please have you set your rendering option to best or is it set to normal. Go under RENDER Menu and set it to Best then export your animation with Animation codec millions of colours. Give this a go if you have not already tried it.

HI there,
have a look at this. I think you need something like this. https://vimeo.com/5428334. I also believe you need to learn how to use Quartz Composer. See the same site for more info.I think there is a book.
i hope this helps.

HI Back,
Yeas it does. From Noise Industries Application in your application menu you should be able to see how they make plugins, you can also duplicate plugins and play around with it (make your own). Send an email to noise industries and explain what you want to do. They are nice guys they will point you in the wright direction.

June 1, 2010 at 6:22 pm in reply to: Why do objects sometimes change position when you group groups?it is difficult to say what is the problem with your project. when you clone layers they always offset so that you know that is clone. just move it back. if the problem is that some of the layers are moving than it is a different problem.
try moving all of the layers in new groups, 2d, also check all of your assets Z position make sure they are the same.

Do you want to make your own plugins. If this is what you want you should look at Noise Industries FX website. I think they had few video tutorials how to make your own plugins. Write to them they will be able to send you a link as to where is this tutorial. Good Luck.
