If you are recording this for legal purposes I would imagine you would need to use a mic with a flat frequency response or a reference mic, some manufacturers are Earthworks, or DBX, the 103 drops in frequency response from 70 hz to 20 hz by almost 10 dB and the charts dont even show below 20 hz for the 103. Since this is a lf hum and is traveling 1/4 mile you’re probably looking at very low frequencies so you would need a mic that is accurate in this range.

So let me get this right, if you are shooting 720P 24 then there are 3/2 frames added? I think I understand, I was shooting something in 720p 24 and then had to go through the Frame Rate Converter in FCP, it would be great if I could do 720p 24pn but I am using HD Monitor Pro into a Mac Book Pro and this signal dosent come through the firewire so I have to go regular 24 and then do a frame rate conversion. After shooting in 720 24 and my end product would be a SD DVD which workflow should I go through , should I even shoot in 720 24 if my end result will be SD DVD or should I shoot in 30 or 60? Sorry still trying to wrap my head around this.

I ordered from Apple professional sales and it came in two days for 16 dollars extra, also price was 50 dollars cheaper.

  • I did not do a clean install, I have many more programs than just FCS2 and did not think It was necessary to replace my engine when I was putting a new car stereo in. It would take me a week to do a clean install and some of my programs would be a pain to reinstall, my system is working just fine, no problems in anything yet, but I did clone my drive before I installed so if I do have a problem I’ll be ok. The only time I ever do a clean install is when I am having problems, why fix something that is working.
