No, but a customer would like to assemble his own machine and requested information to make sure it would work. I gave them the list of motherboards from the website, but they can’t seem to find any of the motherboards here in belgium, except the D955XBK.

You might also try to upgrade drivers for your SCSI card. Also new firmware can help too. Firmware on your SCSI card and maybe of your motherboard. Sometimes even bad cabling can result in slower speed!

Since the new Adobe versions (PPro 2.0 and After Effects 7.0) it works pretty good, no complaints.

A decklink can only be in recording or playback mode, not both.
So yes, you have a conflict, this is something that will never work.-Yves

Shouldn’t you put “BLACK” into the reference input of the decklink?

Yes but the Decklink HD does not have component IO nor analog audio…

Maybe for extra information:
Using the Blackmagic-design supplied deck-control application, you can record to DV embedded into .MOV (quicktime). Using Premiere Pro 1.5 you can record to DV embedded into .AVI.
I have not yet seen any application that can record into raw .DV files.
