OK, sometimes I am a bit dense but I need to know what you mean when you say you want to shift a stereo waveform up about 18% so it’s centered … Is it that you want less of a stereo field? If that is the case just split the stereo wave by mixing down the wave to another track, then take it into the edit side and highlight one side of the wave then amplify with a setting of -300 DB now repeat with the original track only this time getting rid of the opposite channel, (you should keep left side on top and right on the bottom) … Now you can adjust the pans where you want them on the session side, once you have it panned to your liking mix them down to create a new stereo clip …

You will need to bring the clip into the EDIT side of the program and highlight JUST THE NOISE you would like to remove … Once you do that go to EFFECTS > NOISE REDUCTION > NOISE REDUCTION > CAPTURE NOISE PROFILE … Once you capture the profile highlight the whole clip go to EFFECTS > NOISE REDUCTION > NOISE REDUCTION … Here is where you MUST take care not to remove too much of the noise at once … I like to remove it by about 62% or less and if I need more I reduce the percentage … When you preview and it sounds like people are talking in a rain barrel you are going too far … WILLIE

Yes, you can set everything up on the session side, just hightlight the part of the clip you would like to record over and hit the PUNCH IN icon at the top of the screen, it looks like a boxing glove …. WILLIE

Man it sounds like you got gremlins in your computer … Are you listening to the clip on the session side or the edit side of the program? Not that it would make a differnce if I understand your post correctly … I would unistall and reinstall, but it sure sounds like it may be something other than Audition, unless you are tring to save out of the session side and you have the channel mixer activated on the track you are mixing it down from …

All you need to do is highlight the track you want to mixdown, go to EDIT > MIXDOWN SELECTED TRACK Zip Bang and you have it … WILLIE

No, I am talking about recording and creating your own clips … I’ve never really have gone through the clips that came with Audition since I compose and record everything I use ……… WILLIE

Are you just not finding the clips or are you wanting to create clips using Auditionn?

Jack,
Right click on the clip, go to LOOP PROPERTIES > ENABLE now all you have to do is left click on the bottom right corner of the clip and drag it out … Personally I like to just insert clips till I have the length I need then blend the them together, for me it’s easier and it makes it seamless … If you don’t set up your parameters right on your loop control you get a wave that has space between each clip or an unnatural transmission …….. Jack,
Do the work on the session, or multi track side, once completed go to EDIT > MIXDOWN TO FILE > ALL AUDIO CLIPS … It’s going to give you the option to save so a project link can be added, just click on no … It will mix it down to the edit side and then you name and save the mixdown …….. WILLIE

Gego,
Yes, you can use a combination of PARAMETRIC EQ and the multiband compressor in the VST filters … The HARD LIMIT feature will help as well ……………………. WILLIE
