  • Thanks for catching that, what I was referring to is that you don’t have to create an envelope if you choose to use the fade and other options on the edit side of the program …………. WILLIE

    Pablo,

Personally I like the presonus tube pre but you would need a mixing board … Any usb preamp will give you a remarkable improvment in your sound … Any one of the units that you have listed will do the job …….. WILLIE

  • I have been using the package for some time and you will be money ahead … E-mail me at loganonestudio@aol.com there is some info I need to give to you ………. WILLIE

  • Yes, you can project link Audition sessions with P pro … Personally I like to set up my sequence in P Pro, export just the audio, take that clip into Audition do what needs to be done with it mix it down and then replace the audio in P Pro with the corrected audio … Now if I need to make any changes to the clip I can by opening it up in Audition, make my change, save it and it will change the clip in P Pro … Audition is midi friendly and I use an external mixing board connected through a Layla 24/96 … You don’t have to use a mouse to create envelopes, and Audition is much better than Soundforge … Check out the help file it has a ton of info in it that will help …. The easiest way to convert to stereo is to take the original track bring it into the session side, mix it down or copy it by highlighting it then go to the track below it, right click and you will have the option of how to mix it down … I like to mix it down as a mono track … Once you have done that, pan the top track hard left and the bottom track hard right, and then repeat the mixdown process, zip bang stereo and it will move in any increments you want it to move in … I have never experienced a track that you can’t have full control over positioning … Are you zoomed in? If you aren’t it will try and line up with other tracks that are in the session …

Personally this has never happened to me before, but my feeling is that if it sounds good, don’t worry about it … I did look through all the publications I have on Audition and couldn’t find anything on it either ………… WILLIE

PS. I do have my platinum moments
