To be honest with you, you will most likely not be able to re-create the sound you are looking for … My suggestion would be to record your actors while shooting the scene and then mix it in under the studio recording just enough to give the studio audio that outside openess you are wanting to achieve … You could simply record ambiant noise from where you are filming without actors and then mix that in also … In any case the bottom line is that if you are looking for a natural outdoor reverb, record outdoors ………….. One more thing … I would suggest that your work flow go something like this …
1. Do all of your tweaking of your files in Audition
2. After you are happy with the file save it to a folder
3. Once you have the tunes finished and saved to a this folder use another CD write
program, write your CD and then save the ISO to a known loaction -
William,
First off where are you loading your songs in at, on the session or edit side? When you close the program out it will ask you if you would like to save it … When you open and load you can just load from that directory … If you are trying to write your CD with Audition I would recommend that you use another write program such as Roxio, or Nero which will create an ISO for you … WILLIE

Anthony,
I don’t know of a program that will do it, but at the same time I haven’t had a need to look or use one … I don’t think Audition will do what short of re-record the tracks ………….. WILLIE

Anthony,
I don’t think you can, or at least I have never been successful using this feature of Audition … There will always be some of the music track left in … The voice dynamic’s change making it sound just this side of ugly … If you are successful please post … WILLIE

Hector,
I don’t burn out of Encore, what I do is write it as an Encore Image file and once that is done I right click on the file and change the file extension to a .iso, I then burn using Roxio … I was having so much trouble with burning out of Encore that when I heard someone on the forum talking about doing it this way I jumped on it … You might want to give it a try … When dealing with public access you get what you pay for and this station doesn’t even require a membership for your productions to be played … I do have a weekly spot and after 8 years of doing nothing but audio the video thing has been a nice change ……… WILLIE

Sorry, Everything is done for standard playback in DVD format … I am using DVD-R blanks for one station, (their equipment leaves a bit to be desired and DVD+R will not play) and this is the station I am really concerned with as far as quality playback … I am using standard def … I bump into my computer via firewire from mini dv … I do all the editing (video Pre Pro 1.5, audio, Audition 1.5) … WILLIE
