If you have Audition you can use it to sync things back up and then import as a new clip … I would try it on a small portion of the original … WILLIE

Audio is audio and the total training teaches you how to use all aspects of the program … That being said if you are just editing voice you may not want to purchase the total training video … The program is pretty user friendly … Are you planing multi tracks or just one track editing? If it were me I would just go into it get my feet wet and if I had a problem that I couldn’t find a solution for we are always here for you … If you were going to be editing full on music sessions I would certainly suggest that you purchase it …………. WILLIE

I have just watched the tutorial and played with the knobs … You should be able to explore the disks and find out what one Audition is unistall from the add and remove programs and then reinstall or at least thats how it works in a perfect world ……….. WILLIE

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the program? I just got my copy on my coumputer so I haven’t had much time with it yet … I do know that some weird and whacky things have happened to me when I import old sessions … The session played very slow even though the sample rates were set the same … I did a mixdown and the mixdown played at the right speed, then went back to the session and it now played at the right speed … I think you will see some fixes from Adobe in the not too distant future and I hope everyone will post any problems they may be having, till then, I am keeping 1.5 on my computer ……………. Higher sample rates have their place but I think it’s causing your problem … From my experience you really don’t gain that much using the higher setting and remember when you mix it down it will be mixed down to either 441 or 48 … If I was doing your projects I would use either 441 or 48K …….. WILLIE

For large blocks of noise the spectral view is not the way to go because it is designed to heal small single clicks or pops … Wind is a hard one because of where it is in the spectrum and you will never be able to remove it entirely and keep your audio’ integrity … If you go to the posts in AUG there are 3 tutorials and the first one deals with noise removal … What they don’t mention is that you need to only take out small percentages at a time … If you take the removal too far your audio will start to digitize and sound like it’s in a rain barrel … WILLIE

Ozpeter is absolutly right I think you were confusing the removal of ambiant room echo but using the singel click removal tool in the spectral view is the way to go for something like this … The cool thing is that in 2.0 they have added a lasso tool that will really make it even better ………. WILLIE

I would use a 441K sample rate at 32 bit for recording … Micdowns of course should be 16 bit ……….. WILLIE
