2.0 has issues and I personally refuse to use it … If you remember when Cool Edit 2.0 came out it had issues but at least syntrillium got right to work to fix the bugs, but I guess Adobe doesn’t feel the same way … At first I thought it might be a good thing that Adobe purchased cool edit but in retrospect I am not too sure … If you find a resolution please let us know … Let’s hope that they resolve the issues soon without having to purchase an upgrade but I don’t think that will happen ……. Try loading a track at a time it may take you 30 seconds longer but you won’t feel the self imposed frustration that you are feeling now … I do know that when you save audio files once you get to track 10 it stores new tracks before track 1 Why, who knows … Audio isn’t click, point, and shoot like other programs so slow down and take the time to do things right and your audio will be much better for it … WILLIE

When you record there is a POP filter you use that is a fine meshed material simular to panty hose that is placed in front of the mic … As far as removing it after it’s recorded and keep the integraty of the audio may not be possible …………. WILLIE

All you have to do is use the mouse and click on the pause button and it stops where you want it to ………… WILLIE

I can totally relate to your delema I have lost hard drives before and hours worth of work … The reason Audition didn’t promt you to register is that it remembers the info … If I were you I would not only uninstall from the add and remove programs but next I would do a search for any files and folders relating to Audition and delete those as well … I think you are right that something is lingering from the demo … Let me know what you find out …….. WILLIE

In all the years I have been using this program I have never seen this problem before … I would check all your file paths and I would do more than just do a repair, I would completely uninstall and reinstall … Let us know what you have found … WILLIE

In building any tune in recording you lay down the foundation and build from there … In the composing process things kind of fall under “was it the chicken or the egg that came first” theroy … I have done both but usually I create the music and melody line then the lyric … With rap the cadence of the lyric is always the same or at least it appears this way to me so I guess it doesn’t really matter ……… WILLIE
