bada bing, bada boom!… oh yea… & BAM! oyeee…. what a pointless post, other than doing a fine job of not showing how much he doesn’t know. :-\

    Sorry… I mentioned HD as in “hard drive”… not “hi-def” 🙂

Actually, the more you zoom in the timeline you’ll notice that the indicator is really TWO indicators… one solid (start of a frame) & a dotted one (end of a frame… beginning of the next frame) 🙂

Once again… the old adage with confusion between HD storage space & ram (memory).

You’re getting a memory (RAM) error, not a hard drive error. How much RAM do you have?

I seriously doubt it’s your computer. You must have TC breaks on the raw footage. Was this shot with a PD150 as well?

You must mean aliased (stairstepped) & not pixelization.

I think it’s just a larger LCD monitor problem. Larger LCD monitors aren’t meant to be viewed close up. Step back a ways & live with it 🙂

    “don’t tick @rekink” now THERE’S a typo 😀

I believe all you need to do is delete the 2 database files (of course not while Avid is running) for that drive. When you start up Avid again, it will rebuild the database files & your media should be as it was before.

from another forum. In the future…..

In the bin with the stills, display them in script view.

    Select all of the stills.

Press the “Go 10 Frames Forward” key however many times you need to get the amount of handle you want. For example, if you want 1 second of handle, press the key 3 times.

    Mark in.
Press the “Go 10 Frames Forward” key however may times are required for the duration of each still. For example, if you want each still to be one second long, press the key 3 times.

    Mark out.

Your stills have in and out marks leaving handles. If you want individual lengths of time for each still, then this won’t help you at all, and you’ll have to do each one individually.
