I purchased a 33 inch flat screen LCD television recently and found that my titles produced now look somewhat pixelated. It’s as if they are offline quality when looking closely at the screen. Is that because the LCD shows much more detail, or is it a software or equipment issue? Never noticed this before while using a regular television.

    Equipment:
    Avid Express NT 4.5
    After Effects 6.5

Also tried importing a photoshop tif directly into the avid and still looks somewhat pixelated.

Any ideas? I’d like to have sharp looking titles!

    Thanks,

    BC

You must mean aliased (stairstepped) & not pixelization.

I think it’s just a larger LCD monitor problem. Larger LCD monitors aren’t meant to be viewed close up. Step back a ways & live with it 🙂
