You can do something like this believe it or not with BCC using the lens flare filter (without the flare) and just adjust the “rays” the way you want them

That’s not “banding”. It’s some kind of field issue.

I don’t use Premiere, I cut on Avid. If you’re saying you’re using Red as a plugin in Premiere, it’s duration is taken from your Premiere timeline where you have the filter and or effect applied. That’s why you can’t change the duration in the Red interface. Using Red as a standalone obviously let’s one change the duration. HTH

I’m not a Mac user, so can’t help you there. But 1440×1080 is HDV2 spec. The HV20 records in 1920×1080), but is sampled down to 1440*1080 when it records to tape. Then it’s sampled up to 1920×1080 when played back. Must be an issue in your capture settings somewhere.

I believe all you need to do is add a 3D container & move the stills to the container. Then you should have camera controls that allows you to move through Z space

I don’t have a 5D or cut on FCP, but I’m reasonably sure don’t/can’t “capture”. You have to import. Check out Philp Bloom’s tut https://philipbloom.co.uk/tutorials/canon-5dmkii-tutorials/part-1-importing-and-conversion/
