The crop factor of the APC sensor is 1.6x so multiply by 1.6.
24mm (full frame) x 1.6 = 38.4mm

Youtube will only create a timecode .srt (text file) of the dialogue. You can then download it and edit it to your hearts content with a text editor.

Do you already have the .srt file or are you trying to create one? I’m not really clear from your post. If you are trying to create one, you can up load a private video to youtube and youtube will create an .srt file that you can then edit and correct for typos and mistakes.

Add a second hard drive or partition the drive and use a dual boot system. Older OS for FCP 7 and newer OS for everything else.

Bring the roto version to the front and invert the mask so it removes the background– all you should be able to see is the subject. Then move the un-rotoed clip to the back. Apply the adjustment to the layer behind the rotoed clip.

I beta test for a few products. I put them through real world test– real projects. So far my experience has been the developer really wants to hear my concerns. They are responsive to when I find a bug or make a suggestion to improve the product.
I guess mileage my vary with other’s experience.

Can you roto the subject, create a mask then adjust the exposure of just the white sheet until it blows out. Usually when you shoot a white background you over expose the white a few stops over key so it doesn’t look gray.

Is the zoom lens making the noise or is the mirror flipping up and down? I’m not clear on your post. I use ML as well.

It is a big codec to decode. Try this. Run a short clip through Compressor and convert to your preferred flavor of ProRes. Import that into FCPX. How does the clip perform? Or you can have FCPX convert to Proxy files and then link back to master clips for color grade.
Personally, I’d go the ProRes route.
