The stated program prerequisites for any NLE program are minimum and by that usually means one video track !
So you always need more hardware in every direction.
You say ” external drive”. That could mean anything on any bus outside the case.
(2)But to start just find the clip it is asking for. or reimport it.
But try to figure out why it was lost.
And is your external drive fast enough for video work ?(1) Read about project and sequance settings and how to change them. Usually Premiere will tell you if the clip matches. And it will ask you if you want to keep the settings you set up at the start ( you did didn’t you?) or if you want to change to the clip settings.
(3) Yes you can remap your keyboard. But if you no longer use FCP it is probably time to learn the existing PrPro shortcuts and layout.
As I said unless you still need FCP to dominate your NLE thinking you are better off learning Adobe UI in the long run.

Is it possible your machine is not up to the task of holding all of the program and the load of clips and other data?
Have you turned on your hardware monitor to look at CPU, GPU and RAM load? Are you running clips off a slow disk? Or a slow bus?
So many variables here.

You can navigate markers right on your timeline or preview window with key commands or manual clicks.
You also have a marker panel available from the Windows menu ( as for all panels).
Also you can navigate markers from the Marker menu on the top bar. So that is 3 ways. Learning the keyboard shortcut commands early rather than putting it off for years will be to your great advantage an dunderstanding as well. Don’t be afraid of them. They are great work savers. That makes 4 ways of dealing with markers.

Do you have the RAM configged to max allowed in prefs?
I use 16 GB and Adobe sets the min of 3GB for other programs and services.Unless you are doing 3D layering and or a huge layer load with unrendered effect your should have enough for 1080p HD.

Set a levels effect with only one keyframe level for the entire clip. It will limit the output to where you set them. So review the clip and pick your prefered black and white levels and gamma, set and enjoy.

What color bitspace are you working in?
A lot of things are not available for certain modes of high or low color bits.
Read some readily available info.

First tell us if you have already allotted the 13 GB allowable to Adobe programs?
Do you run your programs with either an OS performance and hardware monitor on so you can see CPU, GPU and memory and disk loads to tell where things are happening and how much ? Did you download your computer manufacturers hardware monitor to keep tabs on loads while you are working. Knowledge is a powerful tool. More RAM will not help if you do not have Adobe prefs configured.
So make sure you are using all the RAM you can in your program use.
Also if you buy more RAM look at RAM speeds. Chip spped and bus speed is limited to the slowest chip on the Bus. So do not Max out just the size, max out the chip speed. Generally CPUs are able to deal with faster bus speeds than the RAM the machine ships with. Keeping you in the dark allows them to keep selling more RAM.

try enabling time remapping of the layer.

Open the audio mixer. Find out if you have muted those tracks or soloed the first video track.
Look on the time lime at the audio track controls. Nothing muted or soloed?
What happens when you enter the footage into it’s own comp?

Your machine looks like it should be able to handle the load. But can you dedicate more RAM to Premiere? Can you make a start config with fewer back ground processes, shutting off anything unnecessary? Perhaps go offline as well?
Try to see what you CPU load is .
Did you look in the audio mastering panel? are all tracks set for the appropriate volume?If it is a case of “must get it done” , how about using the old layer methods instead of the multicam method?
are all of the clips of the same type in format ? Do you have Audition or Audacity? Perhaps you should think of mixing in an audio editor. Audition will even let you see the video. You can go back and forth to fine tune any cuts and transitions. Maybe Your machine requires less load for some reason. You say the audio is in .wav format but at what sample rate ? Cutting the audio separately may be a way for you to go ahead.
