Questions from a Newbie to Premiere Pro cc 2015
I just started working with Premiere Pro CC 2015 and I have a few questions to start out with:
1) I made a folder on my external Drive and named it PREMIERE (I am just learning so the folder name does not matter) I opened up the program and when it asked for the name of my project, I made up a name and set the scratch disc to the PREMIERE folder. When it opened up I imported some footage. A few of the clips were shot 720 x 480 30FPS and the other clips were shot 1920 x 1080 24 FPS. I made a new sequence, I did not touch any of the setting when that box came up. I put the 30 FPS clips on the timeline first. Then I put the 24 FPS on it next. When I did that, the 24 FPS looked like the 720 x 480 clips. It was square. So I made a new sequence, Again I did not touch the settings in that box, I put the 24 FPS first on the time line and the I did that, it looked like it was supposed to. Why did this happen? Does the timeline go by the first clip you put on it?
2) I rendered a clip on the timeline (I was told I had to do that eventually) and when I played it back it was fine. Now when I stretched out that clip on the timeline to add more to it, I rendered it endplayed it back. When it got to the place where I stretched it out I got this message in the Program Window: What is that and how come it appeared?
3) How can I customize my keyboard so it’s like the one I use on my FCP 7 and X?
I’ll have more questions I’m sure.
Thanks
