  • Hi Robert/Fred,

If you could capture logs when you see this issue and send them to us, we can take a look and see what the problem might be.

    Thanks.

    Hi Adam,

You can multi-select marks by holding down shift and drawing a lasso around the marks you want to select.

While holding the shift key down, if you click and drag the mouse, all the selected marks should move together.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi Robert,

One thing that you might find useful in case you crash is the Orphan stills section in the Gallery page. Any stills that were captured but not yet saved into the project during a previous run of Resolve should show up when you select the “Orphan” item under the database you are using.

You can then drag and drop the stills you want back into your project.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Nick,

Would you be able to send us logs and the exported project?

You can capture logs using the Capture Logs application in /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVInci Resolve/. Running the app will create a log file on your Desktop. You may email them to davincihelp at blackmagic-design.com. Please capture logs as soon as the problem happens, and before restarting Resolve.

Other information that would be useful to know:

Does the render fail at a specific clip or is the failure random?
Does the problem happen only in batch mode rendering?
What format are you rendering to?
What format is your source footage in?
