You can also apply Fill or Ramp Effect to a different color to the particles.

I believe you are using Lens Convex, Lens Bubble ,etc (Any lens particle emitter) as your Particle Type.
These particles take color from the solid on which you have applied the CC Particle World effect.
Select the Solid, Press ” Cntl/Cmnd + Shift + Y ” and change the solid color that you want.

Download the project file from the website and check whether the same error occurs there or not.
If not, then carefully check the expression that you have used.
