Precompose both the solid layer with shatter applied and the image layer that define the “shape” setting in one single comp and then apply mask on the precomposed layer.

1. Make a text layer by pressing T and type the desired text.
2. Now with the text layer selected press ‘ G ‘ to enable pen tool and creat a Mask around your actor.
3. Now twirl down the Text layer properties and select 1Mask in mask option.

Check in you Graph editor whether the curve for Speed Graph is similar to a hemisphere or not.
Also if you are animating in X Axis, then you should see flat curve shaoe at the starting and end key frame.

You can make the Moving backgriund manually by animating different images and blending them if required.
Also have a look at Red Giants Echospace which will allow you to animate objects in millions of different ways.

Check you CTI ( Current Time Indicator) in the Timeline while pasting the key frames.
The set of key frames will start from the point where you CTI is placed.

1. For crop the objects you can either use pen tool in photoshop or simply Mask them out directly in AE using Mask tool( press ‘G’ ).
2. To give white out line:
select your layer in timeline, go to Layer> Layer Styles> Stroke.3. Go give the bounce:
Make you object 3D and then key frame thier Position in Y – axis as required and Easy ease them by Selecting all the key frames and pressing F9. This will give you a smooth bounce.To rotate the objects , Press ‘Y’ and bring the Anchor Point down to bottom of your object in Y axis.
Now animate the X Rotation to bring in the objects with Easy ease kry frames.
