No Mr. Beall, I read an article about this in Adobe’s Forum. It was written that its not possible to do that in After Effects. So If it is right then you can use Flash.

August 22, 2012 at 6:36 pm in reply to: importing image sequence: images resizing autonomously?Force alphabetical order is used when you have missing frames in your sequence. It will automatically skip the missing frames and import the image sequence without any break as one footage.
If you are having problem with the size of frame, then go to Edit>Preferences>Import or Press “Cntrl/Cmnd + Alt/Opt + ;” to open preferences and go to import.
Now make sure “Length of the composition” is selected and try to import as “Drag Import Multiple Items as : Composition – Retain Layer Size”. May be this will work.

August 20, 2012 at 3:13 pm in reply to: Poor rendering quality, plus other rendered file oddities. You can do one thing, Render the files in AE using .MOV extension with PNG compression format. This will render videos with high quality but with very large size.
Now convert these .MOV files to .WMV files which will bring the file size down to 10% of original file with almost no loss. You can use Total Video Converter for this. This extension is good for uploading in youtube.

Mr. Grief
To make this effect follow the steps below-
1. Make a yellow solid.
2. Reduce the opacity to 50%.(Press T)
3. Place it above the original footage.
4. Press T to bring the Opacity of Yellow Layer.
5. Key frame the opacity as required. You can also apply the GLOW EFECT to the original footage and Sync its “Threshold Value” with the Opacity of Yellow Solid.

Mr. Juyak
Watch the tutorial in the link below where Qua Michalski shows how to use layer emitter. May be this will sort out your problem. Its a big tutorial but makes you clear how to use Particular with layers as emitter.

Yes there is a Master controller for Audio in Ae.
Press “Cntr/Cmnd +4” or go to Windows>Audio.
This will open the Audio Controller on the Top right hand side in Standards Workspace.
You can Increase the volume of all Audio Layers with just one Control.Vishesh Arora

See as you have said that you can’t see your light in composition, Make sure your its not an ambient light because ambient lights are not visible. Change the light type to something else to make it visible.
Or check whether you have enabled Layer Controls. Just press “Cntl/Cmnd + Shift + H”. It will make lights visible if any.
Secondly, Make sure you just don’t turn off lights by hiding . Try to bring the intensity to zero.
Also Check that your “Draft 3d” Button(right hand side of the search bat in timeline) is disabled.
