I tired that and got 900 images. WOW! Had to delete them all. I need a self contained movie with a transparent background. Gonna have to try the other option 🙂

I’m gonna have to deal you another ignorance card from my own ignorance 🙂 I don’t know how to post stuff on here. I could upload to photobucket then post the link, but that wouldn’t work because photobucket compresses a file wouldn’t it?

I’m not using the original illustrator file. I asked the guy to convert them all to PNG, TGA, and JPG. He even interlaced the PNG file to see if that would help things and gave it to me in 640 x 480 so I did not have to shrink it down in the project.

The rastery edges are not there in the canvas view, but on the time line view they’re there. Even after I render all on the time line.

Yes, it’s a DV project. The person who sent me the picture made a jpeg out of an illustrator image and emailed it to me. I just wrote them back requesting a TGA and a PNG file.

NTSC Broadcast SD is also the setting I am using when I open up the project.

I’m taping in 16:9 using the DV setting on my JVC GY HD110

Whatever happened to Adobe bringing their product back to Apple? This thread was in 2007, and I haven’t heard of this happening.

I prefer FCP. I tried a free trial of Adobe. And I’m not knocking the quality of the work it could turn out, but the interface seemed really non-user friendly. And I know that’s only because I’m used to FCP. I’m sure FCP looks non-user friendly to Adobe users.

But I do like a lot of the filters and functions in Adobe that I’m only told about by one of my friends who uses it. If Apple brought Adobe back on board, I was stick with FCP but definitely get Adobe for my system too. Have both to choose between sort of like messing with FCP and Imovie.

Well it’s still a littler rastery, but not as bad.

I used a PDF picture. I’m going to save the picture to a Targa, Tiff, and then PNG to experiment.

But you helped with the main thing I was asking about. Thanks a ton!
