That’s extremely short for a technical specification. In fact its too short; there is a great deal yet to be finalised. Its nice to see that they haven’t compromised on picture quality however.

Er.. nowhere in my post did I suggest using only one drive. My statement is fact. FW400 (the digital transfer protocol) is perfectly capable of handling 2 streams of DVC copmressed HD @ 100Mbs. Whether it works in a real situation is entirely dependent on what drives are on one end and what computer is on the other. Personally I use a SATA array.

Dude, you clearly have a lot of anger about something. If you are looking for help then perhaps a more appropriate subject line might help instead of the implied criticism and whining that you came up with. If you are interested in a subject it is perhaps worth doing a little research on your own. Then you wouldn’t look such a putz.

Its a silly question, a ‘category error’. The two cameras are not in competition.
Take the same project, same talented and experienced crew, and the same complex commercial shoot. Which camera would produce the better-looking, quicker, CHEAPER, result. There’s no contest.
Now, what about that once-in-a-lifetime solo cruise to the arctic to watch the whales and icebergs? Again no contest. -
