This happens because of PAR conversion. You will need to crop 8 px left and right at the top of your export settings.

I don’t have a copy of CS4 in front of me, but wasn’t there an “Add Premiere Pro sequence” under the file menu?
If not, it may only be in CS5.

Simple answer, no.
But for a fairly quick way to do this, even in CS4…
Right click on each individual clip and select nest (or create a keyboard shortcut if you have a million clips). What this does is create a new sequence for each clip.
Then open Adobe Media Encoder, import the Premiere project, and using the control or shift key, select all your sequences. You now have yourself a batch encode for each clip.

Hi Charlie,
Yes, they will both eat as much as they can, and the more cores your CPU has, the more RAM you’ll need. After Effects is especially RAM hungry since it uses it to show you previews. You can release the RAM by hitting Edit > Purge > All in AE.

Hi Larry,
We own the other model, the Xena, but you should be able to adjust the settings in Premiere. That should come up under playback settings.

In that case, change the timecode to audio units. It’s in the contextual menu, top right side of your timeline
