I have a client who wants to create an ELearning tutorial. They want to teach the employess how to use their software when they are on to the company network (basically a video capture of someone demonstrating how to use software). Does anyone know of a software that can record a person giving a tutorial (like many of the demos that we’ve all seen)on a computer and then record it.

I know this is the wrong forum for this, but I can’t find one to post it in.

    Thanks for your help!

Camtasia is pretty much the tool of choice for screen capture these days.

If you on Mac, Screenflow works great.

I should add that is you get the sticker shock (no likely is our line business :-), there is a free more basic alternative.

    Hi Larry

I’m with Vince, I use camtasia for all my tutorials. You also get a free 30 day trial with camtasia to see if you like it or not. Blueberry software also does a slightly cheeper screen recording package Flashback Express (free) and pro, but I don’t think they are as good having tried them out first.

However, if you don’t care about pan and zoom etc Flashback Express is a good free choice.
