I bought stuff from Digital Globe (Before Google Earth was around)

How about 1,2,3,4 in the monitor window ?

It was 1080p footage, which I in fact had to export down to 480i, so you know they both work 😉

Although I have not imported footage from that particular camera, I have edited JPEG2000 footage a few month back in PP2, and it worked like a charm. You can also export to JPEG2000 under Quicktime.

Premiere Pro has a Real Media export setting, under Export> Adobe Media Encoder.
Alternatively, you can download the free Basic Real Encoder from Real Networks. https://forms.real.com/rnforms/products/tools/producerbasic/index.html
If neither of those work let us know.

Can you post a screen shot of your timeline ?
The easiest way to get a fade in on an audio clip: Find (Effects>Audio transitions>Crossfade>Constant power) and drag it to the beginning of the clip, or place your CTI at the begining of the clip and hit Ctrl+Shift+D (Default audio transition)
Let’s not argue about what better P 6.5 was to PP2, unless you want to argue about Windows Me being better than XP 😉

Mmm, that is rather strange then…. A couple more things. What happens if you export to ISO ?
If that works, then there maybe something corrupt in there.
You could try resetting your preferences, and if you have time on your hands, try a clean install of PP.
If the ISO solution works, you could also use this little program (https://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm). That would allow you to drag that file right to the drive for burning without having to go through Encore.
I know, not throwing you a whole meal, but rather a bone to chew on 😉

It depends on the version of Premiere you are using. PP2 gives you a choice between PCM, Mpeg2, or Dolby Digital (Free trial).
That’s under the audio tab at the bottom.

BTW, if you hold “alt” with the razor tool, you will only cut the track you are on without cutting the other linked tracks.
