Adjusting volume problem
I am trying to adjust the volume on a clip so it crescendoes (sp) or fades in to full volume. I tried everything with keyframes in Effect Controls but it isnt working. IKt was much easier in 6.5 when I had it by just adjusting the volume lines.

Can you post a screen shot of your timeline ?
The easiest way to get a fade in on an audio clip: Find (Effects>Audio transitions>Crossfade>Constant power) and drag it to the beginning of the clip, or place your CTI at the begining of the clip and hit Ctrl+Shift+D (Default audio transition)
Let’s not argue about what better P 6.5 was to PP2, unless you want to argue about Windows Me being better than XP 😉

You can still adjust audio in the timeline in PP like you could in 6.5. There’s a drop down menu on every clip in the timeline that allows you to access each effect (including volume). You can also select to see the clip or track volume in the toggle switches by the track names. Then you can click and drag all you want!

Yep, enabling Clip Volume and using the Pen Tool will certainly make it much easier to adjust the audio.
