Can someone please help me. Can someone convert a rm file for me. Ive searched for hours to no avail. There is no free software and the ones available dont work. Its 4 minutes long thats it. Im doing a favor for a buddy of mine and its the only format he has. RM PLEASE HELP Thanks

Premiere Pro has a Real Media export setting, under Export> Adobe Media Encoder.
Alternatively, you can download the free Basic Real Encoder from Real Networks. https://forms.real.com/rnforms/products/tools/producerbasic/index.html
If neither of those work let us know.

If you are trying to convert a real media file to something else, lotsa luck, there are few converters and like you found out, iffy, also the file may have content protection, real media is usually a convert to not convert from.
