You can set the work area (context menu on the top right of your timeline in Pr CC), then hit Enter to render.
As far as performance goes, you’re not going to see real time After Effects without render, except for very simple stuff. That’s normal, you wouldn’t in After Effects either.
And unfortunately, you won’t get CUDA processing on a Macbook Pro which requires a nice NVIDIA card, so effects will be as good as your processor can handle.

Are you copying FROM Notepad to Premiere? Don’t copy from Word etc.
An alternative would be to create the titles in After Effects and use Dynamic Link.

Premiere isn’t going to give you many tools here.
In After Effects, you have the clone stamp tool (Pretty much the same as Photoshop), that will allow you to duplicate surroundings.
That would be a great first pass. With time, you can pretty much cover up anything,
If the camera moves, that’s a bit more complicated.

Hi David,
First, you’ll find that most sub $5000.00 cameras have poor on board video compression, except perhaps for some of the P2 Panasonic cameras.
So for greens screen work, you may want to look at external recording can that handle Prores or uncompressed. This is probably more important than bit depth if you like clean edges.
My recommendation would be renting from companies like Borrowlenses. You can get a pretty nice camera for under $200 for a few days and then decide what you really like. In fact, if you only need a camera say once a month, you may find it cheaper to just rent when you need it.

So then try to force it to 29.97, it looks like it’s just playing 60P in a 29.97 timeline?
What that a Panasonic camera by any chance?

Have you tried right clicking > Modify > Interpret Footage and forcing 60P?
How do you know it’s playing back at 24P?

Hi Gavi,
This could very easily be sone in after effects with a feathered mask, and some glow, although it looks like they are throwing in a lot of lens flare so it could be a stock effect.
Here a quick thing to try just in Premiere, build a new title, create a couple of white rectangles, say 1920×200 and distribute them vertically.
Put the title over the footage, blow in up 150%, add some fast blur, them animate vertically.

Hi Mark,
Make sure you select “Preserve interpret footage settings” when relinking, it’s unchecked by default on the right side of the locate window.

As long as you keep the folder structure the same, even with a different drive name, Premiere CC should only ask you to relink a couple of items and will locate the rest automatically.
