I no longer mess with the project manager. I just export a full sequence in Prores HQ. Then I copy everything to the archive drives.

Is the footage interpreted correctly? You can check the interpret settings by right clicking on the clip in the project panel.

You have a couple of options.
Either create a separate track for that audio and mute the track, or select the clips you want to turn off / on and choose “enable”.

You can use the nest function. Select the clips you want to zoom into, right click and choose nest.

The problem with Macbook pros is that you don’t get much bang for your bucks if you are a power user. On top of that, the biggest screen you can get is 15″, which is just tiny for any kind of editing.
The MacPro is nice, but again, you’re gonna have to drop a few thousands dollars for a basic system.

Hey Simon,
With CS6, I believe you need one of Apple’s products (FinalCut,motion, etc.) installed in order to use Prores in Premiere exports.
It’s not longer the case with Premiere CC.

Short answer, yes you can, no need to be recording, and you can hide the menu, at least you could on the version we used.
It’s HDMI, so for anything over 25′, you should convert to SDI. I would also loop the HDMI and zip tie it solidly to the camera to keep it from popping out.

Couldn’t give you a reason as to why it’s not showing up, but we made our own presets a few years back based on Andrew Kramer’s version for After Effects.
Put these in your preset folder. Drop the presets on the clips you want to fade in/out and see if you like it.

Thanks, your bit rate is pretty low. I would recommend at least 10Mbps target and 15Mbps max. you can do 20 and 25 if this is going to Youtube / Vimeo (or even higher) or you are playing this on a device (not on the web). I would also set the profile to main instead of baseline.
