Hi Adam.
I was wondering to have the mountain setup already from another scene and that the dynamics reacts with the balls falling. Maybe that could solve the problem, because the final scene wont need to render all the emitters since the beginning.
Many thanks!

Thansk very much Adam,
that is what i realized too. Did you try to render it??? when i render different results happens for same reason, so the balls not always fall in the same place, which is quite annoying because everytime I render I have a different output.
Manythanks!!!

Wow Adam, that sounds pretty bad ass, most likely the best option so far.
There is something interesting happening in my scene, when using the layer browser and deactivate all the objects with all their parameters , even with the empty scene, moving across the scene is a little choppy.
Because everything is turned of, it should be smooth right??
For now what i do is working in a ” virgin” scene and copy and paste into the main one.
Many thanks

Hi Adam,
thanks so much, i have done pretty much all of them that you said . do you have any tutorial to the last advice?

Thanks so much Adam, this saved my ass from the deadline! More than i expected.
I managed to create, using your file, a version where the splines are rotating without falling down ( i want to create a shot from above when we can see all the splines rotating).
There is something i was wondering if it is possible:
1 – Using a motor to actually move all the splines , so what is rotating is actually the pole and the splines moving according to the rotation of the pole. ( I attached a file where I used a ball and socket connector, which i thought it could reflect better the real rotation).
2 – if you have a look in the file i created from your file, sometimes in the rotation, the splines does not really get attached to the spheres. I changed many times the point in the constrain and changing the scale of the spline but no success. Any idea?? Anyway, Thanks so much for this Adam.
I am not sure how to attach files, but here is the link:https://f1.creativecow.net/5894/maypole
Many thanks!

thanks very much

Many thanks Adam,
How should I bake to keyframes?? I tried using the button in the tab Cache from the rigid body tag dynamics from the sphere of the cloner , but no good luck .
Why should delete all the objects except the one freezing?? What I want is to keep them being animated but only one freezing.
“Then I’d use a mograph selection tag on the original cloner to remove that clone.” I dont understand why this part neither.
could you help on this please?
Many thanks
