I see. In all big house productions here in london, they were recommeding Houdini, but it could be great to know how much time I would need to spend in order to learn.

would you recommend any of the plugin from C4D to learn?

thanks so much for this Joe,

I had a glance to the book and most of it refers to HD right? I am looking for something more like this :

    https://gizmodo.com/how-3d-animation-works-from-start-to-finish-513349645

It could be great a place where explaning briefly how long certain things takes, for example a 2d animation of a logo, it could take way less than a 3d animated logo ( in theory ) . I want to cover most of the areas related to motion graphics, since 2d to 3d.

    Any idea?

    Many thanks

    Thanks Ashish,

I guess you are talking about cinema 12. However the problem of VRAY is that it does not show the texture on the viewport. Should I select the light creating the HDRI?? ( the light is an area light loading a HDRI)

    Many thanks

I see, but you are talking about the stardard GI right?? I meant the physical one, which I have not seen any option for full animation. The full animation one, I thought in the end nobody use it due it is almost impossible to hit deadlines . I usually do simulated radiosity .

    Many thanks

Hi Adam thanks so much for this useful video.

The only thing i wonder, if the GI works better in Physical. I heard in Greyscalegorilla that the Physical GI works better in animation. In cinema 4D help says it is the same. This means is there no way to do properly GI with animation?

    Many thanks

July 27, 2013 at 9:45 am in reply to: Adobe AE CC and c4d Exchaneg plugin??

    Hi ,

well in Cinema 4D 14, the version I have only has CS6 exchange plugin, not the CC. I tried putting the CS6, but nothing. I guess with version 15 maybe they bring it. In the website of Maxon there is nothing neither.

Is possible true that they delete that option and the only possible is CIneware?? I really hope not.

    Thanks!
