Hi Adam,
Thanks so much for your file. Really kind.
I actually figured out using the time track by this tutorial
https://www.cgmotionbox.com/2012/03/using-timetrack-feature-in-cinema-4d/.In the file I created, a quite complex cloth explosion, for some reason the playback in the editor of the time track gives some errors. The animation feedback is really choppy and not doing what it is supposed to do. Is this a normal thing?
Here the file with time track applied: https://f1.creativecow.net/7296/project-with-time-track-applied
and here the file without the time track applied: https://f1.creativecow.net/7298/project-without-the-time-track-applied
Many thanks

I forgot to say, I want to animate the Scale from the point cache. Lets say the tag goes from 100% speed and suddenly goes into 20% speed slow mo.
If i do that the object comes back to his original state:(
Many thanks

thanks mark, really interesting trick!

I see, that is what I was actually thinking. Using mocha to clean all these details.
Many thanks guys!

I see, thanks for that.
a couple of more things. After adding some corrective strokes , the edges start flickering, so I was wondering how do you exactly add corrective strokes that dont flick. Using small brushes ? big ones?
When you are creating new spans, that doesnt give you jumps in the mask and as well flickering issues?
usually when I roto, I always keep the shape as much as i can, without moving points. I try to skew, rotate, scale and so on. Keeping the whole mask structure to avoid boiling the edges. Is there any trick like that in rotobrush?
Many thanks!

Thanks a lot for your answer Todd.
that is what I thought too but seeing on the help documentation of After Effects I found this.
“The influence of each corrective stroke propagates forward or backward to affect all frames in that direction within the span, regardless of when the stroke is made. For example, if the base frame is at frame 10, you make a corrective stroke at frame 20, and then you make a corrective stroke at frame 15, then frame 20 will be affected by both of these corrective strokes—just as if you had made the corrective strokes in the other order.”
When do you usually create new spans? When the objects have a new pose?
Many thanks

you were totally right in everything Adam, Ae does not support ortographic at all. I tried like you said, and yes works perfect.
I applied some solids with external compositing to replace for text, but for some reason still they show up in some other place.
I want to put text in those cubes and they when they spin the text spin too. But the solids i am getting does not rotate properly in After Effect 🙁
Many thanks

I have tried as you said, and yes you were totally right, getting the expected result will be tough to get it.
I will give a go changing the points.
Many thanks!

I was wondering if is possible adding some physics to a PLA animation, so for example the pages would have some rigid/soft body behavior so when the pages touches they dont cross each other.
any idea?
Many thanks for your help
