March 22, 2023 at 5:38 pm in reply to: Solo in C4d Lite?

    Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, the Solo button is not available in Cinema 4D Lite. It is a feature only available in the full version of Cinema 4D. However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

Hide all other objects: You can select all other objects in your scene and hide them by pressing Ctrl + H (Windows) or Command + H (Mac).

Create a new layer. You can create a new layer in the Layers Manager and move the object you want to solo to that layer. Then, you can select that layer and choose “Solo” from the Layer menu.

Even out the lighting in floor reflection.

Have you tried using a different render engine like Corona renderer, Octane render, Anorld, or Keyshot?

If not, then it will definitely help you out a lot with your results.

  • Second solution:

This might be a long process but could have better results.

First thing after making your model use the knife to create more polygons right click and select subdivide, go to effector and click Polly effect, then make it a child of the model.

Now with your Polly effector, select a random effector (from the effector panel)

Go back to your Polly effector pick falloff, and select linear field

    Increase falloff to 100.

Just move your effect from right to left and adjust the values to create your desired effect.

  • One of the best ways for you to get the required result is to use an effector.

First, make the voronoi fragments a child of a plan effector.

Under plan effector click on parameter tick out position, tick on the scale (take scale to -1 and tick uniform scale), go to falloff, click and select linear field.

Go back to the effector click one random, go to parameter change all positions to 10cm or a required size, click and select linear field.

    Final step:

Click on the linear field (child of plain) and drag to the left-hand side

Do the same for the linear field (child of random) and place like an inch behind the first linear field (child of plain)

  • Using a small screen of the above dimensions would work well as your system modification meets the Cinema 4D standard requirements.

The least required specifications of your laptop should be:

    Core i5

    16GB Ram

    500gb HDD

    2GB dedicated graphic card.

This is very important. Your system can handle the pressure if you have enough ram.

The Yoga slim 7 pro X with a ratio screen size of 16-10 is perfect for someone who travels a lot. The screen has a good depth of field and gives a good view of the icons and write-up on the screen of your laptop.

This is a well known problem and it occurs when the version of cinema 4d is not compatible with your desktop.

    I recommend the following:

    1. Go to your preference and try changing your display to openGl.

    2. While booting your cinema 4d hold down shift Ctrl (command) till your cinema 4d comes up.

If the following does not work. Try installing a lower version for your desktop.

December 8, 2022 at 12:48 pm in reply to: C4D Running Slow on Desktop But Not On Laptop

    Hello,

I read your complain and I hope the following solutions would help you out.

Let’s start with your desktop it’s a good system I must say but the issue is that it doesn’t run on the old drivers you really face issues with c4d, (like black screen on your display port, lagging, or not even booting).

    So I recommend:

    1. Try installing the latest driver for your graphics card.

    2. If the latest update is not supported because it’s an old version of graphics card then you have to install a lower version of C4D it could be from R16 – R19 or R20.

I will strongly advise to get a Windows O.S alongside a newer 6gb Invidia graphics card with 32gb ram.

    Your issues will be resolved.
