This sounds a lot like data outside the 16-235 space. You may want to read these threads:

The only way I’m able to do this is to take the .veg (multiple child tracks w/ the parent track) and nest it. Apply the Track FX in the parent .veg (eg, Sony Black and White) and animate it. That appears to work.

Use Track Motion to resize your workspace and P/C to move over the image.

If you mean … you added P/C keyframes to an event and you want to “trim” the front, then:
a. find the “trim” point on the Vegas timeline
b. select the event
c. “s” (to split event)The keyframes in the second event should be correctly adjusted to time[0] on that event’s P/C timeline.

Sorry for the confusion. DNxHD is fine unless you need an Alpha channel, in which case, avoid it. Avid encodes the Alpha “reversed” from everybody else so the resulting .mov is useless in Vegas. I could never get an DNxHD w/ Alpha file to work in Vegas. I opened a ticket with Avid and they could only use the DNxHD w/ Alpha file in an Avid product.

This is a good format unless you need Alpha, in which case, stay away from this thing unless you only intend to use the result in an Avid product.

You could:
a. Put the tracks in a separate .veg and nest it. Add the P/C keyframes on the nested object in the parent .veg
…or…
b. Make all the tracks a compositing child. Put a solid white event (of the appropriate length) on the parent track. Change the parent’s compositing mode to Multiply. Add the P/C keyframes to the white event in the parent track.
I know (a) will work. I think (b) will. Best.

You could run Process Explorer. R-click on a column header, choose Select Columns. Dialog will appear:

On the Process Performance tab, enable I/O Reads and I/O Writes.
You can now sort by these columns in main view and thus see which apps are causing the most I/O traffic. Hopefully, they’re not problematic.
