    HiYa Guys!

I come across this problem now and then with making still images smaller on Vegas. What happens is I’ve reached my limit or so it seems on making them smaller through pan and crop(PC). With the image below I’d prefer them even smaller but it seems I’ve hit a limit as the PC handles don’t pull any further. If that’s not enough, I can’t get the images to move on the screen where I want them. The example is the 1/2 forklift with a dotted line on the right hand side. If it’s moved any further right it disappears.

I think I’ve tried nearly everything over the years to make this work, but to no avail. Something is missing.

Use Track Motion to resize your workspace and P/C to move over the image.

I will generally format and size my images in Photoshop before adding any stills into Vegas. Maybe your image ratio/size has something to do with it??

Is there a way to do it with track motion but to not need to use a new video track every time you need to add a new image?

    Hi Neven,

I usually add a picture or video on a blank track and use track motion as needed then, if I need to add another pic, I right click on the track, hit restore then start again, It’s really just animating
the motion and not useful if you’ve got pictures that overlap each other… unless you render each
picture motion segment then add them to a separate video track…confusing myself now, Pete.
