You can try a camera solve and then use a Null with expressions to reverse the move, but it wont’t look right, no matter what you do since the camera move changes perspective on the subjects being interviewed. The only way to get this right is to either change the idea on how you want them to appear on screen or re-shoot without a camera move.

It’s quite simple, once you take a look I’m sure you can figure it out. It basically can do the same thing as the plugin you referred to but you have to adjust the points manually. One row and no less than 3 columns. With 3 you can keep the center unaffected and stretch the sides. You will need to play with the handles as well to adjust the stretch (keep Shift pressed as you click and drag a handle to keep it horizontal)

You need to create a separate comp where you position the videos to fill the shape of Virginia. Use the layer of the map on top with opacity down to 20 % as reference. You can either have straight edges to the video (like tiles) or blend the video layers in by applying feathered masks.

You can use the Mesh Warp (under Distort) to achieve a similar result. Create as many columns (just one row) as you need to be able to control the areas of the image you want to stretch.

Precomp leaving all attributes, open precomp and apply stroke effect inside.

Although the lens is wide, the updated software will allow you to choose a Medium or even Narrow field of view. Use the GoPro Hero 3 Black to record 720p 120fps ProTune or even 240fps in WVGA.

It looks like an anti-aliasing issue. The way I usually solve this is by applying a .3 to .7 fast blur on the layers involved.

This is unclear to me- you are talking about real lights or AE lights?

Like Roland and Todd I key first and grade after. I normally use at least two passes- one on the individual layers to bring everything to similar values and then a overall grade on an Adjustment layer on top to blend all elements.
