    Alternatives to Stroke tool?

    So, I’ve got some 3D layers of video cropped with lights on them… And I’ve found that Cast Shadows are compromised when you use certain layer effects such as Stroke.

    I’ve removed them, and tried to use the basic Stroke effect, which has SO MANY limitations (inner/outer stroke???), I can’t get the effect I’m looking for.

    Are there any 3rd party Stroke-like tools out there? Perhaps a work-around for the layer effect syndrome?

    Precomp leaving all attributes, open precomp and apply stroke effect inside.
