Duplicate the layer.
Precompose the duplicate.
Inside the precomp apply Hue/Saturation and take down saturation.
Apply Levels and adjust to get good contrast.
Then go back to the main comp and on the initial layer apply the Channel/Set Matte effect and select the precomp as the source (Use For Matte set on Luminance and Invert Matte checked).
Go back in the Precomp and create a white and a black solid. Create garbage masks to fill in the character shapes and clean up the white.

I would try to use a second instance of the footage precomposed as a matte channel. Inside the precomp I would play with Levels after I take out the color. A black solid with some garbage mattes my be necessary to fill in the characters.

But, to get exactly what you want, shoot some shaky video with some good tracking points in it, track and apply that to your still.

I tried to replicate your issue and I had no problems moving the precomp in the main comp on the timeline. From your stills it looks like you are stretching the precomp – is that what you are referring to when you say moving?

In Keylight use the Intermediate Result. Then apply the Spill Suppressor. That works most times for me.

For the font – do a search for fonts on Google- plenty of free fonts. For the look – play in PSD and create the initial still of just the text. As far as the positioning, Corner Pin Track with Mocha and apply to text layer.
