Thanks for all the help. Since I do this mostly for a hobby I am not going to drop over 1000 dollars for a camera. I am going to look into the panasonic cameras. What kind of burner do you use if you have a high definition camera or do you guys use the high defintion feature of your camera. There are alot of people who dont have hd dvd players. I know to even enjoy hd you’ve got to have an hd dvd and hd tv.

Most of my filming is of motocross riding fast action type filming and it is outdoors so lighting is out of the question.

June 12, 2008 at 7:21 am in reply to: Vegas Pro 8 Crashes …Again. Any Suggestions?

I had the same problem with vegas pro 8.0b. I was using mpeg files from a sony minidvd handycam. I think the problem is something with vegas. I have tried alot of different things but could never fix the problem. I have read where alot of other people have had the same problems. What I did was downloaded the free trial of sony vegas movie studio platinum and I did not have the problem again and could render my full video. It is kind of a pain when you have worked hard on a project and put alot of time in it and it crashes on you. I had the same problem with vegas bogging down my memory all the sudden and I had plenty of memory to spare. Maybe they will get the bugs worked out of it.
