I’ve been looking everywhere for it, but can’t seem to remember which car brand it was made for and have not been able to find it so far. That’s why I’m asking here…

Shake has a totally different user interface than what you might have seen before if you’re not familiar with node based software. If I remember correctly, Motion also has the SmoothCam filter built in. Using Motion, the learning curve might not be that steep if you’re in a hurry to stabilize your footage…
    good luck!

It’s been a while since I had this problem now, but as I remember it I got an error message upon opening Motion. The error message was regarding an installed FxPack from Noise Industries. After I cleared all files and folders related to this plugin-pack from my Mac, everything went back to normal. Why don’t you try and uninstall Shake and see what happens?

I ended up buying eDVD for my project. Successfully authored a DVD-9 with 3,5 hours of video and 1,6 GB of documents in various formats and have distributed about 1.000 copies without a single complaint from the client. Gave up the Intellidisc after discovering it doesn’t support files bigger than about 75 MB….

Just found out…there was a corrupt plugin-pack that also caused Motion to crash on my drive. Deleted every associated file, and now my Smoothcam effect is back….

Thanks for answering debe. I’ve already cross-posted in that forum as well as this, but the answers to my question haven’t been numerous…as for Premiere, it actually has EDL export, but does that mean that I can export and EDL from Premiere and then open the project (from the EDL file) in FCP without any compatibility issues…?

Check out DV Matte blast. Keying with DV is hard enough, this might help you out. https://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/review_dv_matte_blast_douglas.html

Hi Sean! Yes, I am looking at already digitized footage when being played back from the timeline. I already have those options ticked.

Yes, it’s a seperate disk – not the system disk – but as you may have understood, not an external disk.
