The footage is not progressive initially, but would it work to render all material to for instance ProRes (progressive) and then follow your method on these files?

Thanks for the input.
I´ve used Cinema Tools on several occasions before, but being that this is a concert video with such massive amounts of video, I am not sure this is the way to go for this particular project.
I do have a CC subscription, and will try out your tips using After Effects for the conversion.
Any other tips are highly welcome!

Does the same job as the G-Tech ES ones, and have USB 3.0 as well as FW800-ports.

Yes, there is. We have physical copies of all the material elsewhere, on several locations.

Ended up choosing interlaced sequence presets instead of progressive. That gives me output through BM (which outputs 1080i). Seems BlackMagic cards are a bit picky on what kind of input they get from Premiere.

I have actually managed to (kind of) solve the issue, by making interlaced timelines, even though my source material is progressive. BM output is set to 1080i (I’m in PAL land). The guys at Adobe say the BM cards are very picky and not easy to overrun by choosing different output from PP than what the card is set to

Thanks Alexander, but it seems like you´re on a PC while I´m on a Mac. I´m afraid to mess things up if I don´t move the correct files to the right place. Any ideas?

Me too. BlackMagic Audio out through analogue XLRs work fine. But video doesn’t
