I tried that option but this makes the edge of the letter fuzzy. I cant seem to see any other options in the text editor.

    Guys thanks for your responses,

Yesterday I got the opportunity to do a few test, that being NRS and standalone rendering. The project that I put together had the following on the timeline:

The music i used was an upbeat song and added markers to every x4 beats. I then placed various shots from the footage I had and on that footage I added a Magic Bullet and Contrast and Brightness filter. The total length of this clip is about 2.5 minutes.

1st test: On my Standalone PC which is a Dual 2.0 ghz XEON x1 gig RAM & 200Gig HD this project took to render 02:39:10:00

The same project using the PC above and the second PC being a P4 2.4ghz, 500mb RAM & a 200gg HD only took 01:00:06:00 via the NRS.

Most of my projects are composed in the same fashion as the one above and seeing results like this excite me.

In my previous post I asked if anyone had experienced the glitch problem when using the NRS, If I can solve the glitches then I believe using the NRS in my situation will only benefit my turnaround time.

Liam thank you for prompt reply.

On my first post I forgot to explain that I started the render services on PC 2 however forgot to start the render service on PC 1 instead I opened the project and selected render as and then selected Render Using Network Computers.

Could this have caused the failure on PC 2? not starting the render service on PC 1 or will vegas automatically start the service on the editing machine?

Ok silly me just answered my own question! You need to add the transition by clicking on the + (Insert Effect) sign before exiting the library browser.
