Need help with zooming letter effect
I am trying to create a motion to a letter. For this example i have used M as a reference, I adding a text to my timline and typed the letter M, setting the font size to 504 and scale to 4.000
I then added to the begining of that clip a keyframe and followed by adding a keyframe at the end and setting the scale to 0.000.
This should now look like the letter M is zooming from 504 to 0
I would like the M to start off the screen as black and then slowly zoom in. Is there anyway to make the letter M larger than 504 or scale 4.000? Or will I need to just add a fade in at the beginning of the clip.

Try using Pan Crop to zoom in or out.

I tried that option but this makes the edge of the letter fuzzy. I cant seem to see any other options in the text editor.

Make the letter the LARGEST size. Then use the tools to zoom it OUT. You don’t want to “zoom in” on a SMALL letter. You want to “zoom out” from a LARGE letter – even if you’re zooming in.
