    Oh I forgot to mention, if I hold the Alt key down while pressing the right arrow key, it moves a frame at a time. Hmmmm

    By default, the number of frames that the cursor moves with the arrow keys depends on how much you are zoomed in to the timeline. As you have seen Alt/arrow is always one frame.

    I customize the keyboard in prefs so that the arrow is always one frame.

    Sounds like you may have turned off “Quantize to Frames”. Please verify that setting is turned ON.

    Under Track view> CursorTo.LeftByFrame and CursorTo.RightByFrame.
