Function key (fn) + right arrow (->). BTW I have the small Bluetooth on the mac pro…same on that.

  • Never use .mp3. Use something to convert your audio to .aiff @ 16bit stereo and 48k and you will never have a problem. That’s what FCP is expecting. I use iTunes…right click ok the file, select “create .aiff version” and viola!

You’re very welcome! I’m finally getting to the point where I can help a little around here after learning so much from the kind folks here so that’s pretty cool!

Don’t know if it’d help but try converting to .png first. FCP seems to work well with that format.

  • I’ve only used one and that’s becUse it’s so good I haven’t had to try any others. It’s called “time:calc”. Past I checked, it was only .99 as well.

Also, take a look at Magic Bullet Looks from Red Giant. Watch for it to come on sale on one of the large video websites. It’s awesome and I use it A LOT! It’ll do everything in one plug-in. Look it up and watch the promo vid.

Did you make sure you have handles ok the clips you put on your timeline? FCP requires frames on whatever clips you apply transitions to. Check out your manuals 🙂

Sounds like you need Media Manager. While the project is open, go to file > media manager (pretty sure it’s under file but I really don’t pay attention anymore…I just do it…and I’m not in front of my machine right now).

Make sure you use the copy method, then go back and delete the old stuff afterwards.
