I go to render all of my video for playback. It seems as though since I’ve added a necessary audio clip it won’t render properly…ie: it will render only a small amount…

my 1st render renders and changes the red bar
my 2nd render moves the red render in a different position.

    i’m confused…i restarted…shut down….etc..etc… any ideas? (i’ve attached pictures)

The Mp3 audio on the Sequence does not match your Sequence Settings. The audio needs to be .aif. It will always need to be rendered. Rendering all of your video will not render the audio. The Mp3 audio file will either need to be converted or you will need to go to Sequence > Render > Audio and render the audio. On top of that I am sure that whenever you adjust the video or add a transition between video clips above the Mp3 audio you will again need to render the audio.

    hope that helps

hey victor, thanks for your response.

i do render all, as well as individually. it seemed more like a bug than a rendering issue.

Never use .mp3. Use something to convert your audio to .aiff @ 16bit stereo and 48k and you will never have a problem. That’s what FCP is expecting. I use iTunes…right click ok the file, select “create .aiff version” and viola!
