Hi I just watched the video tutorial for Serious Effects & Compositing, I’m just wondering, if I wanted to shoot some similar footage. Is it necessary that I have a green screen? I know it would obviously make keying much easier, but I just don’t have one available to me. So I would need to use the pen tool to key the background out from where ever I shot it on every or every other frame, correct?

Have you tried re-installing the production studio?
Are you dual booting WinXP x64?

Yes it will looked stretched, but it might be OK to you. The only way to find out weather or not is acceptable to you is to try it…

When you try to import the file, from what I remember you should be able to select what sequence you want to import to Encore. If not just save that one sequence in premiere as a different file name.

I would imagine it depends on where you have the drop shadow layer, changing the blending mode might help….

General guideline?
Duel core + duel processor. Intel Xeon would be my preference. x32 and x64 bit compatible. The more memory the better. Some type of RAID, the new WD Raptor 10k drives are really nice :)….

Are you running the production studio? if you are there is no need to render your movie first. Encore will open the Premiere Pro file…

yes i have tried playing around with all of the settings. but still nothing works.
