For what it’s worth.
I use a small, 250Gb bus powered USB drive to off load the cards from the camera and verify them. I plug it right into the side of the camera to transfer from the P2 card. From there I use the USB drive to Log & Transfer the clips into FCP. Worked every time so far with DVCPro HD.

As above, I have all of my field gear on an Inland Marine policy. The studio gear is insured differently. I got quotes from several companies a few years ago. Call a good insurance provider and they should be able to work up a plan and get numbers to you.

Did you shoot under florescent or mercury lighting by chance. I’ve had instances where I get the same effect that you are describing except that the pulsation is much longer. I would usually notice it while scrubbing through a scene at high speed. Some lighting fixtures will change their output very slightly when running on AC power, especially the high voltage units used in larger installations. Usually the pulsations are so slow, tied to the frequency of the lower grid, that it’s difficult to notice them. If yours are faster, it might be something different.
Did this camera have a shutter speed different than the other cameras? That can cause the same effect as well.

I’ve had luck by zapping the P-RAM while restarting.
Hold down Command, Option, P, and R while Mac is starting up.
Worth a try.
My Kona 3 did this sometimes until AJA replaced it under warranty.

Try Control clicking in the blank gray area where the target track should be. You’ll get a drop down menu. Select “Reset Panel”.
Hopefully that should do it for you.

On a GVG 100, the Proc Amp control is a jumper near the back of the Reference (or control? -it’s been a long time) board. Years ago, while working with a 100, I wired a small toggle switch across the jumpers and mounted the toggle near the front of the board for easy access.
BTW, the GVG-110 isn’t necessarily a component switcher. It’s just an upgraded Model 100 where they added few new features including E-Mem’s and a setup mode that made timing much easier. And they had a toggle switch to disable the Proc Amp…right in the same place where I mounted the make shift bypass on the older Model 100.

Try disconnecting your input to the DVI>Optical converter and then to the Optical>DVI converter in turn to try to isolate where the interference is actually getting into your system. The monitor may just mute and show nothing but it’s worth a try. Not too many places it can get in. Do the monitors nave internal power supplies or “wall warts”?

Same problem on my room. It gets into the audio amps at the desk.
