thank-s david for the help,I discovered:
1. If my seq. setting is in dv and I export a reference movie looks bad.
2. If my seq. setting is in dv and I export, with quicktime conversion, in prores is good (better than dv!)
3. If my seq. sett. is in prores and I export a ref. movie the results are quite the same as the second point: I notice some changes in how it renders colors.
Definitively, which is the correct one? My problem still persist.
One more question: If I want to export it for the web is it correct to do as follow:
1. export the project in prores hq in a RGB sequence
2. use compressor to convert it to h264 full quality with deinterlace filter set to SHARP (I triend use ODD option in the deinterlace option tab but it destroy my little logo).Any advice?

Thanks Serge for your help but how can I let it be more real?
I mean, for istance, the lights turn on and off not gradually (just on and off), how to make the floor seems more specular..
I tried adding some Glow effects and a little bit of CC light but it still appears too fake. -
Thanks Jhon for the help.
I found difficult to find the exact prest in FCP (I got only Aja Kona 720 50p) for capturing slowmotion. (I’ve never foud the Aja Kona 720 25p capture preset).
As far as I know hpx500 and hpx170 shares the same menu setting: could you tell me which preset and settings did you choose(like detail, detail core, pedestal etc..)?Tommaso

Working in HD:
with the aja hi5 can I have simultaneously hd-image on the plasma and a downconverted image on my crt?I think it is not possible unless I buy an external downconverter to feed my cd crt monitor.
is it right what I assumed? -
you’re right.
I got project to deliver both in DVD – DVcam and Internet. And so:dvd and dvcam: Export in dv (no better result if I encode in mpeg2 a prores files than a dv?)
Fot internet: export in RGB animation or prores or what? -
thanks for the quickanswer. But I have one/two more doubts:
If I have to do CC or something that doesn’t concern motion graphics, is it not better to export to AE in prores (10bit) than to do it in DV?
I tested that If I export my dv timeline in prores I’ll obtain a much cleaner result than If I export in DV.

I made a test:
I try to capture it also with premiere pro cs4 but the problem still persists.
Is is possible that the problem is in the cassette (minidv),in the deck or a drop frame that shift me audio and video.
I got the same problem 2 month ago… -
I don’t know exactly what you mean with “unterminated” but one week ago with my old G5 Kona Lhe worked perfectly.
If I use my VTR (sony dvcam) through firewire connection the monitor works good.
My monitor is a JVC TM-H150C HI-Resolution. -
I dowloaded the latest drivers from https://www.aja.com/html/support_konaLHe_swd.html, the version 5.1 and 5.1NDD but both of them give me the same results.
I’m sorry for the mistake, I meant “burnt”images;images that are too bright (overexposed).
Hope this help.
thanks
