In my list I got a capture preset like this :”Aja Kona 720p25 ProRes”. could it work?
Assuming to capturing at 50p how can I re-change the setting to 25p in FCP?

If I want my master in Prores is ok, but I want to make color correction not in hdv space but in prores and so I want to convert my footage in a better ormat to work with. I hope to make me understand.

the problem is that final cut says me “Unable to locate timecode” also if I want to re-capture in HDV.
I have the chance also to capture to prores via Kona Lhe but problem still persist.
I found almost impossible that the crew that shooted the short movie did a mistake over all the tapes (10!!!).
Help me or I think I’ll have to manually batch each tapes in my timeline!!

I ‘d want to mantain the same frame rate as my source: 25fps.
For quality speaking is it better to capture via firewire to prores or via aja kona to Prores through component?

…solved…copy and paste effects in to a project then take the project file to another system.

what do you mean with “reference file”?
With the upgrade to FCS2 I got a huge problem: compressor doesn’t open anymore. Is there a way to do it directly in fcs and then convert in dvdstudiopro (as I usually did)?

one more: is it finished your Color – training DVD?

I believed that with the version 5.0.1 Apple would have solved that issue…in my opinion its a shame that Apple havn’t yet fixed this problem
